I need to give the interior of my truck a little spring cleaning.

Are the seats real leather or faux leather?

Have owned other vehicles with leather seats. These don't look/feel/smell like they are leather.

Asking because I don't want to go using leather cleaners/conditioners on not leather or vice versa.

I do believe the seats are real leather. I have an 07 Limited, I had an interior restoration guy (working on a different vehicle of mine) look at my 07…he pointed out that one side piece was redone with vinyl (presumably to fix a worn out leather piece) and he mentioned that the work was done well enough to match the rest of the real leather. Hopefully others will chime in.

1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg 4.jpg The 07 limited was full leather content. Front seats and back seats. The gen 2.5 became more of a mix of leather and vinyl.

Use leatherique conditioner and cleaner. It does amazing stuff to the seats. They sell it on Amazon.

You vacuum up the seats as clean as you can get them. Then use the rejuvenater conditioner on first. It brings up all the grime. Then use the cleaner to wipe it away. It's s reverse process compared to other leather products. Condition first. Clean second.

Makes the leather look extra great.

These are some 20 year old bmw 5 series seats I treated and cleaned with it. It's like a Swedish product.

I've tried every product out there. I swear by this stuff now. It's safe on all leather and vinyl. Water based and organic stuff. No chemicals or petroleum products.

Removes all human oils and grime. Makes the leather perfectly clean and matte again. Definitely restores elasticity in dry leather.
    Amazing stuff.

I've noticed it clears grime out of areas that look wrinkled and cracked, and rehydrates them to look smooth and full again.

The longer you leave the conditioner on the better the results. And the more you keep reapplying the better it comes out. More is better with this stuff..it'll keep absorbing into the leather. As it absorbs it floats the grime up. Then becomes tacky. In the tacky film it suspends the dirt. Then you use the cleaner to wipe it off.

I've only had success every time I've used it.
    Leatherique.

    Thanks.

I have always used Lexol on both our leather furniture and the seats in my wife's Lexus.
Might give Leatherique a shot. Seats are overall clean and in good shape but feel a little hard and dry with one small crack on the side of the driver's seat that I want to try to keep at bay. Truck was religiously maintained and garaged by the previous owner but it got somewhat neglected in the time between his passing and the estate getting settled.

That's not bad at all. My 2007 SR5 seats are a bit better condition than yours, though I have the same discoloration/fading you do on your leftmost seam. I use Lexol cleaner and then conditioner a couple of times a year. Granted, I bought my truck in 2018 and have only put 22,000 miles on it in 5 years. I would assume lack of heavy/consistent use are what is keeping my seats in good condition.

Driver's seat is the only one that shows any wear at all. Passenger and rear seat are in like new shape. Truck only has 122k on it and isn't my daily, mostly sits in my shop, I think I have put about 900 miles on it this year. I plan on keeping it forever so I want to care for it as best I can.

My drivers seat in my 07 CM looks exactly like yours right down to the small crack. I use Bickmore saddle soap and a hogs hair brush to clean them and then apply Bickmore leather conditioner cream. Seems to give the seats a nice supple feel.
