Hey all, new here with a 07 Sequoia SR5 2WD that just sort of fell into my lap. I was looking for a grocery getter that I could up fit for some outdoor adventures and I fell in love the first time I drove it.
Anyways, it’s only been a few months but I’m slowly working through everything you would expect from a Sequoia with almost 200k miles.
    Projects done so far:
-timing belt (twice… off by one tooth and didn’t realize until the check engine light came on, luckily no damage, lesson learned though)
    -water pump
    -accessory belt
-brakes replaced with Powerstop Z36 rotor and pad kit
    -transmission drained and filled
    -cerakote headlight kit
-I took the vehicle to be inspected, and the service techs gave me a heads up the transmission was missing all 4 bolts that connect it to the cross member, so I went ahead and ordered those bad boys and installed ‘em

    To do:
-install 5100s to replace shot suspension
-previous owner had no idea about the LBJs, so that’s priority number 1
-lower control arm bushings are incommunicado. Consensus is just replace the whole assembly
-stock radio just crapped out, and has precisely 3 volumes that it picks at random when turning the volume nob: 29,30, and 31
-replace 18 inch wheels with 17 inch (the wildpeak AT3Ws that came with the vehicle were rubbing). Currently down to some steelies off of an 04 Tundra and the car just looks sad sitting so much lower on the 16 inch wheels.
-put together a roof rack with 15 series aluminum extrusions

Happy to be here, the community has already been a great help.

Thanks! Visited some friends in Phenix City a number of years ago and I’ve had the Piggly Wiggly jingle stuck in my head ever since.
