My previous 12 inch pioneer started smelling when being used, so I bought a 10 inch space series Audio Control sub and LC 1.800 Audio Control amp. Last time I had someone build my box for me, but felt like it was too thin of material even with the glass on the inside.

I went with a 10 so I would have tighter bass for drums. The 12 was decent, but really wasn’t great with sound quality. At least I think it was the sub. It was boomy and maybe a little muddy no matter how much I adjusted settings. The 2 10s I had in my previous truck were spectacular.

So I built my own box. It turned out pretty good. The only thing that gave me a fit was the carpet. Turns out that’s a whole different skill! But I eventually got it right. I haven’t hooked it all up, but hopefully I’ll have time soon.

Anyway, I’ve been trying to advance my small woodworking skills and have been trying to find projects!

Got my amp rack built and the amps wired up tonight. Still need a good vacuum, but thought I’d just leave these pictures here.

Ok, last pics! Got it all tuned and put the amp faceplates on. The amp rack worked out pretty nice with the seat angles. So before, I had my amps under the seats. I really didn’t like them there. It just felt like when you were a kid and shoved stuff under the bed and called it clean! And speaking of kids… how is it possible that I had that many goldfish hiding under the seats!!! At least now I can get a vacuum under there.

Looking good, nice clean work. Did you try the sub on both sides to see how it sounded? Someone on here tried it and liked how it sounded better on passenger is why I’m asking.

No, i was replacing what I’ve had in there for the last 11-12 years and didn’t even think about seeing how that would sound
