So I have owned this truck since it’s birth in 2013. Just crossed over the 100k mile mark and looking to get a few services done. I was thinking about just taking it in to the dealer. However I can’t afford an open check with them. Since I have had it I have literally only changed the engine oil and brakes. I live in an apartment so spending much time if any is not loved by management on-site. That being said where would a good place to start be?

    Diffs
    transfer case
    Trans

Or just continue to put miles on?

    Thanks for any advice

You live in a town full of Tundras. Offer up a bunch of beer and someone might just help you wrench that sucker at their place.

Diffs, transfer case, transmission, brake fluid, coolant, grease propeller shaft to name a few. Look up the Toyota maintenance schedule pdf online and look at the services at each mileage interval. See what you missed, what you've done and go from there.

OME Nitrocharger/2612 (front), Bilstein 5100s (rear). Vanguard roll bar modified (by me) to fit over Patriot Stealth retractable tonneau. Aftermarket halo headlights with HID, various LED bulb replacements. 17" Fuel Blitz wheels with some 33" Nitto terra grapplers. Hoodscoop, nfab nerfbars, Bushwacker flares. No-name aftermarket grille, led fender extensions. Black Horse bambi-basher. Various offroad lights.
I know the million mile tundras (4.7L) just had regular scheduled maintenance done, with the exception of new trans fluid every 120k. As for where to do it, there are a decent amount of folks from San Dog on this forum, I'd hit them up for recommendations (and you might get that garage offer like Cruzer recommends, don't forget the beer!).

Go to this SoCal thread - you'll definitely get more local recommendations:

All sound advise and much appreciated.

I do have most of the tools to get these things done. Beer and wrenches go together in my mind. A place to spill oil is the only thing I lack. These greasy jobs I like to leave to the pros.

Does anyone have a favorite place in the San Diego area? I live in north county and commute to National City mon-fri.

It's easy enough as I just did this last week. According to the manual, you can do them at 120k though. I did mine at 117k with no history of prior spark plug service and they looked pretty decent.

I am gonna do the Plugs and PCV myself. I will gladly have the dirty work done underneath by the shop.
