My 2019 SR5 continuously blows the 10A fuse in the small fuse box near the parking brake lever (driver footwell).
    Brake lights work fine.
If I replace the fuse, it blows the moment I turn on the lights.
I’m using the stock tail lights and bulbs. These have not been altered since new.
Front lights replaced with Morimoto lights.
Any thoughts what could be causing this? Thanks

    Might be a short somewhere?

have you removed the taillights to see if there is anything out of the ordinary?

I would start with removing the morimotos and putting stock back. If the fuse doesn’t pop, then you know there’s an issue with the morimotos. If it still pops, you have a short somewhere. May want to check for any mice that may have got into your harness.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I appreciate your helpfulness.

I have not removed the Morimotos to test. The lights worked for some time after installing the Morimotos.

Just now, I removed the headlight fuses from the under-hood box and tried again. Unfortunately, the tail lights fuse blew again.

I will remove the tail lights when I have time and check for shorts.

Check all the bulbs to see if they are good. I had a somewhat similar issue on another vehicle that was due to a faulty bulb. Kept blowing the fuse everytime i stepped on the brake pedal. Turned out that there was an LED light bulb that had shorted in the 3rd brake light. Bulbs in both tail lights were fine. Bulb was actually smoldering when I removed the 3rd brake light lens to check on the bulb. Had to replace the bulb socket cause the LED bulb melted half the socket. Went through a pack and a half of 20A fuses until i found the culprit.

Could be one of your front lights or could be one of the rear lights. Just unplug each taillight one at a time then each front parking light one at a time and see if that narrows anything down.

Thanks again for all the input. I checked all the wiring and bulbs. I disconnected fuses for each headlight and taillight one at a time. The only resolution was to replace the Morimotos with the stock halogen headlights.

I had this keep happening when I did my OEM LEDs...I'm not sure what happened, but I noticed when I was putting in the fuse in ots awkward position, I kept putting it in almost diagonally somehow...I ended up "realigning" the socket with a small flathead screwdriver and it's been great since...I went through like x10 fuses figuring that out but I had no idea how it got that way to begun with as I never touched it before...I realize this may not be of any help but the experience imprinted me...God's speed
