    Hello Everyone,

I have been doing some research recently since I’ve installed my King coil overs. I have yet to see a thread on recommendations / length needed for bump stops on a 6” lift. Does anyone recommend a certain length bump stop for the front coil overs? Also, do you have a part number as I can’t seem to source fronts for the Tundras..

    Rears - 25001-644

    Thank you All!! upload_2022-4-4_19-4-0.jpg

I would assume your RC lift relocated the bumpstop mount lower. Should be able to find a decent 2" (or whatever size is needed to prevent your shocks from bottoming out) rubber bumpstop to bolt onto there. If you're looking for an air or hydraulic bump stop, then you may need to get a mount welded on somewhere.

Awesome, thank you for the response!

Unfortunately, I bought the truck with the lift already installed. I believe from what I have read online from here and other various forums is that the the lift should have ideally dropped the bump stops. I’ve attached a picture of the rear bumps and the current gap I’m seeing. I’ve taken measurements as it sits with the OEM BS’s and I’d definitely bottom out the coil-overs first. The more and more I read about RC lift I’m kind of hosed on switching to alternatives. Sorry in the original post, I should have been more specific on what bump stop style I was looking for. I was referring to the hydro bump, but now that you’re saying I would need to fab up something for the front to get hydros, I would just stick to standard rubber bump stops until I absolutely find a need.

Thank you!! She’s finally coming together. You have a pretty sweet looking setup too! I’m really digging the bumper, what brand is that? I pulled the OE bumper off to paint the chrome and lost interest, and well it doesn’t really fit with the 37s either. ‍:hattip:

That is the original bump stop mount, with the oem bump stop. Looks like you’ll need to get a tall bump, or install bump stop extensions.

    Too many, but not enough....
Durobumps, Coachbuilder and Wheelers all have bump stops as well.

    Sweet, thanks guys!

Definitely making more sense with adding in the spacer and a better rubber 0-3” lift bump stop. Haha, for the life of me I couldn’t find a bump stop that was recommended for a 6” lift. They all say 0-3” lift recommended. I appreciate the feed back, and the Welcomes from the group!

The front OE setup has 2 bumpstops. Is it possible the orignal installer only dropped the front one? Pretty tacky for the installer to skimp on that detail.

My installer never put mine on either. Fortunately, a contact at RL sent me 4 to place on the front.

I did notice that as well. Although, Kings directions tell you to turn the front bumps to make clearance for the Coilovers. I couldn’t imagine getting bigger bumps for the front considering the OE bumps in the front would barely clear the Coilovers. I do see why you would need both to equally distribute the impact though. Definitely some fun stuff. I’ll post pictures of the extensions and upgraded bumps once installed.
