1794--Body Color Wheel Flares

DO all 1794 come with body color wheel flares? When I used the "Build your Tundra" app prior to buying, I seem to recall that it showed the 1794 with black wheel arches. I know lots of folks paint them to match body color, but mine was delivered with body matching MGM paint. Is body match paint the norm?

 

Is it the pic or they don’t look like they match very well

Yes, they match exactly; I think it's just the lighting in the pic. I believe I'm in the SE Toyota area; I'm in central Texas, just north of Austin, but vehicle purchased in Houston. Like you, I thought only Capstone and Sport came with color matching flares. As I go back thru Tundra build app, all colors but MGM appear with black flares and the MGM appears to be very similar in shade to be body matching. I haven't seen another 1794 in MGM to compare. Got admit, I prefer it this way.

 

SE Toyota does all kinds of shit , that’s likely it

mine are color matched but had them done before delivery

 

Just got mine a month ago and it came with black flares. I think black is standard.

 

My 22 is black. I have hummed and hawed about wrapping them and the stache for a year

 

I have 1794 MGM in MS and it’s color matched

 

My 2023 12794 with TRD Off Road is Celestial Silver with gloss black flares

 

My ‘24 1794 is lunar rock and it has charcoal gray flares.

 

Got my 2024 1794 MGM a few months back in Utah & mine are also color matched.

 

My ‘23 MGM bought in N. Virginia is color matched. Nothing on the sticker showing it was anything other than std. for the 1794.

 

My 2023 Mesquite 1794 came with chrome flares to match the mirror caps.





Just kidding. Gloss black.

From the responses here, it appears that MGM comes with body matched flares and all the others come with the charcoal/black. Thanks for your comments and verification of what I was thinking.

lol, this is funny, how the hell can there be so many variations beyond SET or outside SET.

color matched is so much better so those that got that lucked out

 

In Central Texas, we are in GST (Gulf States - confirmed with my window sticker)...and I agree this is interesting for sure.

 

My 24 limited came with blackish/grayish standard flares. I’m looking for a set of the glossy flares that comes in the platinum or a set of wind chill pearl to match.

I agree with you. And as @chuckles Toy states, it appears Texas (Central Texas at least) is in the Gulf States region. Bizarre--but I like mine with that peculiarity!

 

I believe the TRD 1794 comes with black and a standard 1794 comes in gray
