Due to my recent total loss on a 12 day old truck (I'm still pissed). I got a call from my local dealer that the 1794 Limited Edtion will be hitting the dealership at the end of April. They will be doing a 10k market adjustment on it minimally based on interest, it could go higher. What is everyone's thoughts on these trucks? IMO it's just a 1794 TRD Pro with fancy leather and accessories. Is it worth being the first ~90 - 100k Toyota truck?

Would never pay 10k market adjustment for a vehicle even during the craziness. Find a better dealership or travel out of state to find one at or below msrp. Plenty of dealers out there won’t be marking them up. It’s a sweet truck but at 90k-100k not a chance.

So you're probably looking at around 90K. Too rich for me.

Edit: a non-limited edition 1794 and a Platinum are pretty darn close to what you're looking at, for at least 20K less.

Just cut to the chase and put $20k in a pipe and smoke it.

High price models are stacking up. Look at them.

One of the members here just bought one at invoice...$75k on a $81k msrp...no one is going to pay over the sticker for one of these unless they have FU$ and just gotta have it...dealers count on that

I have a 1794. It’s not a “TRD Pro with fancy leather and accessories”. It’s a Platinum with the option for leather other than black, which is all you can get in the Platinum. That’s why I bought it. The features on the Platinum and 1794 are the same. The TRD Pro option package is available on it, but it’s separate from the 1794 package. And I paid about $3500 below MSRP. 10k over sticker??? NFW

There is no “trd pro option”. There’s a TRD off road. Different.

Any dealer that marks up MSRP should be ashamed. We should bring back public stoning. This SRP bullshit is just that - bullshit.

Correct…typo on my part when I called it TRD Pro option package. The first reference to “TRD Pro with fancy leather and accessories” in quotes were the OPs comments. As Ryan corrected said, 1794 is a Platinum with the same features.

I bought a Platinum OR. I wasn't screwing with A. Waiting and B. Another sales person. Buying cars has always been a bad experience for me. I was just curious if that's what other people were seeing the "Market adjustment".

Not intending to hijack a thread, but what’s the difference?

The trd pro suspension is Fox internal bypass shocks and has trd upper control arms. The trd 3” lift kit are bilstein shocks and use steel upper control arms made by roush. Might be some other difference but the main difference are the fox shocks vs the bilstein shocks.
