I’m really a big fan of the 1794 blue interior lighting. Has anyone attempted to add this to a 3rd gen that didn’t come standard with it? I have a 24’ limited and my feelings are a little hurt that it didn’t come with them. I could just wire some aftermarket DIY junk in, but I want that clean factory look.

I have the 1794 and really like the factor mood lighting. I swear when I was looking at a custom build for 2023 there was an upgrade option for changeable (RGB) mood lighting. I have since tried to find it on the Toyota build site but can't locate it.

Am I just making this up, or was there an option to have it customizable? If so, I would think it's simply a software change and not actually different lighting strips. Can I update the software for this?

Never heard nor seen this. My 1794 lighting is off, blue, and blue. :D

Would be cool though for the first month or so, then I'd set it to blue and never touch it again (2005 Mustang GT "MyColor" dashboard experience talking)

You aren't imagining it as an option, but it is different than the 1794's standard "mood lighting." It's the SmartLED Ambient Lighting option.

Available in FL, GA, AL, SC & NC"

    Also a $449 option. Lol.

I have the lighting in my 1794. I also have it in my audi, where you can change it to about 8 or more different colors, for different modes you have it in (dynamic, comfort, etc.). - I have it set... in blue, similar to the 1794 std. - I've changed it a few times in the Audi to play with it, but ... it goes back to blue as my fav. ;) you can also change how bright it is in the Audi, which is a nice feature that's not available that I know of in the 1794, but hasn't been an issue.

Capstone model has changeable colors for mood lighting. It is adjustable through the Toyota app. Hybrids have a few doodads not available to us fossil fuel fans.

I find when you are on a road trip thru the mountains with no ambient light, it is very noticeable in a good way. You can see everything under the dash. If you have ambient light its more less useless

One of my wish list items. Thanks for confirming. Is media port USB C? Or still USB A?

That would be a nice feature to change the color based on mood,I didn't see it as an option when I was building mine on line.
Doesn't mean it wasn't an option at the Stealership thou,I think it's a clean look at night and when driving long distances at night it's just the right amount of lightning to navigate in the cabin with ease.

Was this done with a software update? I just picked up my 2025 platinum on Thursday and it was blue. Tonight, it’s white!
