Looking at moving to an 8" lift and 37s but trying to decide between 18" and 20" wheels. I like the smaller diameter, more rubber look, but didn't want to look too disproportionate. Anyone with 37s on 18's would love to see them. Thanks!

I'm probably thread jacking here, but is that fiberglass front fenders? I've been stalking everyone's threads looking into glass fenders. What brand?

37x12.5x18 here. I like the tire sidewall height with the 18. Plus it rides like a caddy now.

Found a new wrinkle. I have a bead on a really good deal for wheels, but they are 9". Cooper only makes the 18" 37 SST Pro in 13.5. That may be a little too wide for a 9" wheel. I looked it up and most say you can do it, but not sure if I want to chance it...

Mine are 13.5" on 8.5" wheels. I really wanted 12.5 wide, I do believe Cooper makes 'em just harder to find. The problem I was running into is that 12.5s are a lot more expensive than the 13.5s. For the KM3s it was more than $200 difference.

Thanks man. They make the 20" 37 in 12.5, but the 18" is only 13.5". I certainly won't mind going to 13.5", other than now we are looking at rubbing issues. The ReadyLift 8" is supposed to fit with 37x13.5 and +25 wheel offset. I planned on going +18, and that plus the extra tire width will certainly cause some issues. I know lots of guys have negative offset and make it work though...

I don't know what brand.:anonymous: The business card inside had been removed on both of 'em. I thought the were Fiberwerx so I bought their extensions but judging by the way fit, I'm now guessing the fenders are McNeil. I've ordered Fiberwerx bedsides and they should be ready tomorrow.

I'm +18, I've done the cmc and it's hitting the cmc. My alignment isn't right though. You'll almost certainly need to do the BFH pinch weld mod too.

I planned on going to an 8" lift, wonder if that will still cause the same issues...

Probably not, I'd forgotten that part of your plan. You may still need to fold over the lower section of the pinch weld. Definitely install first then decide. Once you start with the BFH there's no going back.

There's a guy running 13.50 on stock rw wheels, no issues, and wheels the crap out of it.

Even with the ome yep. I mean I can’t compare it to a LT truck but for the average feller it’s perfect.

Not yet no. On the long list of things to do. So far it’s not too bad. Curious to see how bad it is hauling my 18’ bumper pull or the two horse trailer we own...:anonymous:

I think 17's on 37's is a bit too much for me. I am leaning towards 20s because the Cooper's I want are actually a really good price on that size....

I agree, 17s and 20s you can find cheap! Few months back I bought 37 13.50 20 general grabber x3s for under $700 for 4 off of Ebay, i think someone got fired that day, they showed up! I was waiting for a cancel notice. I traded those for my fab fours bumper. Wasn't ready for 37s then, but damn it, I am now!

Exactly what I want except 12.5 probably. Cheaper but I am trying to avoid chopping metal to make things fit .
