    With the 16" you get the 0 offset, with the 17" you get -10 or -38 and wider range of tire selection.

    I'm contemplating both with the idea in mind that I will be running 33's and a leveling front suspension kit (bilstein 5110 and new UCAs). I don't like a ton of poke, so the -38s are out.

    Any 1GT guys have any input about which wheel size has worked better with these trucks, specifically an 05/06 DC?

    If you don't want poke grab the -10s. I have the -38's and like how they fill out the factory flares really well, but that being said I probably would have ran them regardless. Also on a 305/70 so my sidewalls push out a little more and I'm aired down to ~15psi in this pic.

    I got the truck with Fox 2.5 coilover non resi/adjuster, 2.0 rears, camburg UCA's. I cranked the fronts since they were set at factory height - I'd guess around 2.5-3" front lift. I also added an icon progressive add a leaf. I actually do not recommend at all. The fronts are super soft and rears are super stiff unless loaded. Feels really unbalanced even with sway bar removed. BIG ADS Racing Shocks fan and I'll have some rear 2.5 triple bypasses on the truck next month.

    Daniel,

    The F5 also comes in 16x8 -25mm which will have the wheels and tires somewhat flushed with the flares. With a 2-3", I probably wouldn't run +0mm offset unless you're after the tall and skinny look where everything is a little tucked in. 16x8 -25mm and 17x8.5 -10mm will have a similar stance. If you don't have any flares and want a flushed look then 16x8 +0mm is perfect.

    I can't recall the tire size, but the wheel is 16x8 -25mm.

    @SCSPerformance

    Vin, straight from the source! That's what I'm talking about, thanks.

    Ok, then a set of bronze f5 16X8 -25 is what I'll be going for.

    I live somewhat close to your hq. Can I pick up from you to avoid shipping costs?

    Thanks again.

    If more than half your tire height is wheel, you're doing it wrong. So if you're going for 34's, then 17's are fine.

    I think that’s a little subjective. Not that a fella can’t run a 34” tire on 17s, but should still be fine on a 16” wheel. Ofherwise, it would be taboo to run a 37 in a 17” wheel by that math!

    Also, I’m glad that Vin pointed out that wheel width makes a difference in poke when you’re talking about the same offsets. An 8” wheel will need more negative offset to poke the same as an 8.5” wheel.

    No, but you shant run 32's on 17's. People might think you own flat brimmed hats with stickers on em.

    @Mr.bee haha, def not trying to look like a flat brim bro-dozer driver.

    I'm happy Vin jumped in here. My plan is those 16X8 -25 wheels and 285/75/16 rubber w a Dobs IMS 2.5" lift w OME springs up front, UCAs, and OME shocks in the rear w an add a leaf.
