1st Gen Black emblems or overlays

Anyone got the low down on where I can find black emblems? I really am not a fan of plastidipping.

 

For first gen? Probably not. Lightly sand them, mask them, and paint them. Unless you want to swap out your first gen emblems with current or '07-21 emblems, then you can find pre-blacked out ones easily eBay or Etsy.

 

Smoked is cool, I think all-black looks cheap, same with wheels a lot of times.

But everyone has their preference, I'm not judging. You could probably get a vinyl wrap, lay it over the entire decal, then carefully X-acto the edge, though.

 

I used a blackout kit for a 2nd gen from eBay. Didn’t use the 5.7 badges but it had the sr5 badges, tundra badges, 4x4 badge, and the little Toyota badge for the tailgate
