Hello everyone! My first post here. I'm glad to have joined this awesome community of fellow Tundra fans!

I have a 2000 Tundra 4.7 V8. I had my cats removed a couple of years ago and have been looking for a simple plug in O2 simulator kit for my 2 down stream sensors. I have looked and looked and looked but can only find motorcycle sims. Maybe one style would fit my old baby but I don't know which. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I tried building my own resistor style sims but it didn't work.

Please help! Thank you in advance!

Due to the epa cracking down hard. I think every one took their simulators off the market

@ColoradoTJ can you move this to the first gen section if you think it belongs there?

    I'm kinda on the fence

Those things really aren’t that complicated. Any first year engineering student or technician who’s taken circuit theory could make one.

It’s just a voltage divider circuit used to bring 12v down to 0.4v I believe. Easy peasy with 2 resistors.

I just edited it, since you obviously want to get rid of the rear o2 sensors.

    12V*R1/(R1+R2)=Vout

R2 between the 12v and your output (Vout). R1 between your output and GND.

Okay most logical place to bypass would be between the connector to the ECU and the ECU itself if that’s where the output goes from the O2 sensor.

The circuit you create would ignore the O2 sensor voltage and feed in the bypass output.

I’ve had pretty good luck with the anti-foulers and real o2 sensors. Without cats they can be stuck into the exhaust stream at any convenient place.

I tried Sims...worked well for a couple months, than shit the bed. And crazy expensive. I ended up getting 02 simulator spacers (spark plug defouler). Works great.

That sucks. Wonder if because your truck is newer its a bit fancier and smarter with the 02sensors

Long tubes and 12 hole injectors on a factory tune probably doesn’t help much either

    'Tis what I have also

(But no cats, or resonator, after market exhaust)

I scored a used URD O2 sim a few months ago. It's been working perfectly on my 03.
My 06 on the other hand doesn't seem to appreciate the O2 sim... went from po420/p0430 to p0138/p0158
