    Hi All,

I have a 2002 SR5 with the bucket seats and console. Is it possible to swap a 05-06 limited drivers seat with the drivers seat on my 02? Or do you run into issues with the seatbelt sensor, etc.? Thanks

I can’t answer the swap question, but I bought new foam from a vendor on eBay and got katzkin leather installed and the seats are considerably more comfortable now.

If you search Tundra seat foam it was the only one that showed up.

Anyone ever see 3rd gen tundra bucket seats go into a 1st gen tundra? Specifically looking at some 2014-2021 SR5 buckets to replace my 2002 SR5 AC bench seats. Any idea how difficult it would be to swap them in? Has anyone ever done it? Any help is appreciated, much thanks.

Anything is possible, you just be need to be savvy enough to:
    • Be able to re-pin any sensors
    • Deal with any sensor compatibility issues, and/or retrofit sensors from old to new
    • Deal with bolt-hole alignment problems, since floor pans are rarely the same - safest way is to build your own seat adapters, you'd hafta been pretty safety-oblivious to drill your floor and bolt through it without substantial reinforcement.
I haven't seen what you're looking to do. I'd recommend sticking with like-year buckets instead, personally. At least the mating-to-floor part of it should be easier, with limited (if any) drilling.
