    Hey all,
I did a few keyword searches here and couldn’t find an answer to my question, so if anyone has anymore info I would appreciate it.

In short: can you swap the suspension components from a 2nd gen or higher into a 1st gen to take advantage of the improved LBJ design?

I’m due to replace LBJs, control arms, and struts anyways, so if I can make an upgrade without too much hassle or an exorbitant I would probably go in that direction.

Nope. Not at all the same frame setup. Now, anything is possible if you believe in yourself and try hard. And have a cutoff wheel and welder.

Thanks, that’s what I figured since I don’t see anything on the forum.
