I second PSI. Had them on for a year and they are good quality.

Any chance you have pics to show how much they cover? Hoping to cover up some rust over one wheel arch.

Didn’t want to start a new thread, but I’m in the same boat. The flares are badly faded on my 2001. I know I can throw some paint or Solution Finish on there to clean them up, but the gasket material is pretty cracked and the whole thing just looks bad. Outside of OEM, are there any bolt-on options like Bushwacker that will make use of the factory clips and not leave me with exposed holes? Aesthetically, I’d be just as happy removing the flares completely if it weren’t for the factory holes beneath….

Edited to add: This was the other option I was thinking of: https://www.bushwacker.com/extend-a-fender-flares/2001/toyota/tundra

Were they a swap for factory? If so, how bad of a chore was it? I appreciate the input.

Yes they were. They were very easy to install. My 2001 AC had the narrow chrome wheel trim pieces from factory.

I just saw this post if you are still looking, the rubber seal that is cracked on fender flare is sold seperately. I just bought it and its about $20 Dealer. You can also use ceramic clay spray on flares to make them look shiny Or you can plasti dip them . I did one flare with plasti dip Gloss black and It came out awesome. What you do have to watch out for is the rivets that go in body for Front flares. There are 6 on each side with different size rivets!!

    If anyone needs the part #s 75395a-35040 67036 67037

I am not a huge fan of the OEM bubble rounded flares on my 2000 TRD ... What other options are there out there to get something with a bit sharper lines? anything?

Are you planning to fill the holes in the body panels where the current flares are mounted?

Not if I can help it ... Was hoping there was an aftermarket flare option that would cover up the old mounting holes, but i am a novice with the first gen tundra, not familiar if there is anything out there ... If nothing exists, I might just spray the OEM ones with bedliner when i paint my winch bumper..

I'd double check, I think the 03+ flares have OEM holes but the earlier ones may not.

Definitely, and good point. I swear there are 3 flare types before the DC came out and added to that. Hell, if anyone knew, I'd expect @BubbaW to have the answer.

Needless to say, not a ton of aftermarket bolt-ons for these trucks per-se, and folks have been interested in fender flares for what seems like an eon.

If no stock holes, I would consider going with the version with chrome strips.

Non TRD most often has the little flare strips the thin ones.
Non TRD can also have on occasion the non body hole flares that have a different shape and are paint matched even on SR5 trucks. @bmf4069 has these.

TRD has flares with holes in the body to hold them. SR5 is non painted and Limited's have them paint matched.

I'm not even sure what kind I have. I think the trd and limited ones are the same as mine, but mine are painted. Just not body color.

Nope, just checked the photo page. TRD flares poke out more. Stole these from @TX-TRD1stGEN
