Has anyone in this forum been successful in being able to put a sealed speakerbox that holds 2 10in woofers that aren't shallow mount behind the rear seat in a 14-18 crewmax?

    I did.
I had it installed so not sure what they put in

You can contact Infinite Audio in Macedon NY to see what they use.

Yup. Fox Acoustics make a box for us and I have it installed on my ‘15...with two 10” Kicker subs

Edit: Kickers are shallow subs but they are powerful!!

Probably the 10TW3 JL Subs. Which are shallow mount subs.

It would be tough to get a full depth sub behind those seats. I don't know if its worth it really with the shallow subs available.

Pretty easy to put two shallow subs behind there.

I've got the jl stealthbox and it sounds great.

Exactly what I got. Absolutely love it. Not over the top bass.

So i found a seller on ebay that sells mobile audio equipment, including speaker boxes.

I went with full size 10" rockford fosgates, due to the 4.5 in mounting depth of the box. The RF woofers measured 4.3 in in depth. There is still 1.5 - 2 in left behind the seat, from what i can tell. Each woofer has more than the required airspace to run them.

When I began this quest, i initially purchased 2 amps, both US Acoustic products. A 1500w @ 1 ohm mono amp called Mike, and a 4 channel amp that runs 175 watts per channel, called Barbara Ann.

After being in my buddies shop for 2 days, he called me to tell me that the four channel amp isn't compatible due to me having a Platinum, which has its own amp and subwoofer (shitty tiny sub imo), but the high end is fabulous.

So, I'm running the high end with the 440 watt amp that came in the platinum, with the mike running the lows.

Mind you since i was 17, i have always had systems with multiple amps in all my vehicles, and by far, the setup i am running currently is by far the best and cleanest i have had.

Non platinum owners, i recommend running an amp dedicated to highs and mids, and a mono amp of at least 1000 watts to bass. You will not be disappointed with this setup, unless you run shitty power and shitty components.

I had an Alpine type R T in my last car. It sounded great and was a shallow mount sub that would be perfect in the Tundra.

I have a pair of 12" behind my seat, so a pair of tens shouldn't be much harder to do.
I'm running the ********* 12" box. I also have an enclosure for a pair of tens, but haven't swapped them out yet.

Bottom line, yes you can fit a pair of 10" back there.
