A lot. See my channel for all installs/mods!
Installed this lift kit a couple weeks ago, had it off the road a couple times already and couldn’t be happier! Install isn’t that bad if you want to do it yourself, definitely worth saving a chunk of money!

Great video! How is it on-road vs your old pro suspension and did you have to modify the TRD skid plate? Thinking of getting these too!

thank you! Literally feels identical to the stock fox suspension on the TRD Pro. No better, but definitely no worse. Other than the extra height and travel, I would never know the suspension was changed!

Any regrets with this lift? How has it been?

I have been pondering the 3” lift version for weeks

Did your front shocks come packaged like this? I hope it’s a test of their durability just wrapped in foam paper. Boxes have patch holes in them with scuff marks on the springs.

Mine arrived the same way, I ended up having rubbing issues. However that was for the previous gen.

Any other issues other than rubbing? My first experience with them and their emails are beating around the bush and non specific.

They said they will send me a replacement. However they're out of stock and can't tell me when I'll be able to get a replacement. They said they could be in stock tomorrow or it could be a month. Nothing specific. My coil got the top edge of the shock body and it appears to have oil residue. It only rubbed once the weight of the truck compressed the suspension.

good that they’ll replace it when it becomes available. I’m gonna try and get mine installed next week and see how it goes.
@2020Platinum how’s your lift holding up? Did you need a sway bar drop kit?

Went with the 3” kit with heavy duty springs.
So far so good. Hope to actually have time to do the rear in the next couple days.
I am wondering if I need a sway bar drop bracket too. I was about to order one just in case. No rubbing of it but does look a little wack.

yes and yes. All the other brands included it so I added it. When I asked Ironman they said you don’t need it unless you wanted to get the most out of your shock. So why not add it. You might need spacers if you have a skid plate.

so far so good. I have a steep curb to my driveway and it soaks it up a lot smoother than my icon stage 3 for Tacoma and 4Runner. Time will tell but I’m excited to not have to rebuild these as often. Looks complete now with my 35s. Gas mileage… not so much haha

nice, rebuild ease and longevity VS the icons I had on the taco was my deciding factor too.

@slcsez2000 with your heavy springs what kind of weight you got on now or planning?

    sorry never saw this

figured at some point I would toss a full bumper and winch like I had on my Tacoma.
Currently I am just stock up front.

so I let things settle and remeasured after driving for a couple weeks.
Looks like my 3” lift is actually settled at 2.5. Guess I’ll call tomorrow and make sure they actually sent me the correct setup
