    I bought my 2000 Tundra new in April of 2000. It had 45 miles on it.I was driving home from work Friday evening and turned over to 400,000 miles!! I pulled off the interstate and took a picture of the odometer.I have drove that truck pretty hard most of it's life and it still runs great!! I am a salesman at Fox Toyota in Clinton TN. so I IMG_20201016_195312479.jpg have an awesome job and sell the best vehicles made!!

    i know for a fact my dealership uses my 880k mile corolla as a "hey, theyre reliable" when theyre selling cars... i constantly get asked if its true.. lol too bad it wont see 1 million after the wreak :(

    This is the truck.2000 Tundra limited access cab 4.7 v8.I have replaced the timing belt and water pump 3 times already.Just replaced the upper A arms.replaced the rear end last year at 365,000 miles.never had the valve covers off.replaced the original starter 3 months ago.still has the original alternator!! On my 3 rd set of stainless steel racing headers!! Designed my own cold air intake 19 yrs ago and have had my k&n cone type filter for 23 yrs.I first had it on my 1983 280zx. It has approximately 600,000 miles on the filter! I hope my 2013 TundraIMG_20190831_195607024~2.jpg IMG_20201013_224400553.jpg IMG_20190831_192031128~2.jpg SR5 crewmax last this long!!!

    Okay that truck looks awesome!!!! When was the pic taken???? I live in Nashville and I'm sure a place like Clinton TN a few miles east is the same strategy. They don't really salt the roads, the strategy is if it snows, it gets warm enough in a day or two to melt the snow off most roads. So yeah your truck can rack up serious miles and look great if you wash it by hand once a week and wax it about once a month.

    That picture was taken June of this year.I used to keep it in the garage but now I keep my 13 crewmax in there.It has spent most of it's life outside.I have detailed cars since I was 16.now I'm 52.I used to wash it once a week and wax it once a month but now I sell cars for Toyota and don't have a lot of time. it's just my work truck now.
