I do not have this truck at my location first off, it is down at my kids' house a couple hours away.
First I heard of a problem I checked battery and it was 7 volts. It had just gotten cold and AAA battery was at 3 years so I put a new one in checked with my fluke that it was indeed charging and called it good.
I should have test drove it because it did the same thing to my son again, actually died after losing power. When I got back down there the battery had recovered? I even charged the AAA battery and it is good.
No codes at all and factory alarm but what I found happening is, the truck will begin discharging after it is warm? I have no idea if an alternator is capable of that?
    Ideas or experiences?

I have 2001 sequoia. Truck needs to be started every other day. Significant Battery draw, I used a 12v bulb in series with positive battery cable, which lights up to point where i can't hold it after a few minutes but not to the point where the bulb blows. Pulled all fuses in fuse boxes under hood. Only "fuse" which stopped current draw was the short fuse. Which took out radio, door locks and dome lights and chimes. Could not fine actual fuse to stop power draw? Does any on have electrical for 2001 sequoia?
