Afternoon, I have a 2004 tundra plow truck that had a Pioneer folding, touchscreen, cell phone interface, blah blah and ripped it out because of being wonky!

I'm looking to install back the original radio so I have some sanity while plowing.

The original system according to the VIN decoder was a JBL Premium 6 CD Cassette radio with 8 speakers.

The truck is a 2004 Double Cab Limited Tundra that is loaded.

My problem is the original connections are the two connectors shown in the attached picture.

Can anyone tell me what model the radio should be to revert back to factory? I see radios with these but also with other connectors and don't know which one or if I'm missing anything on the OEM truck side with the previous change over.

    Thanks folks!!!

Do you still have the JBL amp behind the rear passenger seat back? If the amp was removed and bypassed when the aftermarket head unit was installed your going to need an a JBL amp to make an OEM JBL headunit work.

YES, the amplifier is there! The last owner spliced into the speaker lines but can be reconnected!!!!

I wonder if the head units are interchangeable and its the amp/speakers that are different on the JBL package.

The wiring diagram radio side is the same for both units iirc.

If I look at Toyota's parts site and use my VIN, it seems to show model 86120-0C130. My concern is there is a third connector when I look at the model on the web.....

That small one is not used in the Tundra.

If you're buying from ebay or other used source make sure you get the mounting brackets if your aftermarket head unit didn't use oem mounting brackets. New brackets will set you back $45ish

I have the OEM JBL radio without the mounting brackets that came in my 06 Limited I would be willing to sell for $50 including shipping. The model # on the radio is 86120-OC140. I can take some pics of it tomorrow if your interested.

Toyota Owner's Site says I have this JBL System
EJ JBL AM/FM/Cass With 6 Disc Changer & 8 Speakers In 6 Locations
HY Rear Audio System w/Wired Headphone Capability

It's a Panasonic out of an 06 Limited Double Cab. My 83 year old dad bought the truck new and I got the truck about 2 years ago and replaced the factory JBL system due to a blown speaker in the front door. I doubt my dad ever turned it up to 11 or played a CD/cassette tape . The truck only has 80K miles now. Except for the blown speaker it was working as it should prior to removal. If you are going with the factory JBL system I would verify you still have the OEM JBL subwoofer/midrange speakers in the front doors. The JBL system with an amp is a 6 channel system and the front door speakers are 2ohm unlike aftermarket speakers that are mostly 4ohm.
