I'm so confused here. I cannot find the correct wiring harness for my head unit anywhere. I keep finding this other kind that supposedly fits my Tundra, but it for sure doesn't I am including pics of the wiring i need to match. I am also including a picture of the receiver I am attempting to connect to. Please help me out. I am almost certain there is no amp in my truck, but I will have to make sure in a couple hours. I will edit at that point. Thanks so much for your time and help. I am really at a loss here.

    Are these both OEM radios?

If not, what model radio are you trying to install?

Did you buy that JVC radio new or used? It should have came with a harness with a black connector and unterminated wires. You have to splice/solder them to the harness from Crutchfield to adapt new radio to factory harness.

Ok... so it's a new receiver. I have the harness with the black connector. I went through Crutchfield and looked at the one you found - it's discontinued. But! I think I found one that would work and keep all the steering wheel controls. I don't care about the JBL audio amp and that nonsense. I mostly listen to podcasts anyways. This is what I found

Would this work with the connectors I have??? It definitely looks more promising than literally anything I have found, and I have been looking.

It’s hard to tell based on just the pictures.

reach out to Crutchfield’s customer support. Tell them what radio you have and what truck. They’ll ask you details about your truck and tell you which harness for sure.

I see a whole lot of butt connectors in that last picture, kinda concerning. May want to make a post in the 1st gen section and you may get a few more bites on this. Also a pic of the front of the factory radio would be good too.

I agree that it's concerning. I thought the sam thing when I opened it up, but I've been trying to ignore it and keep it moving. I figure it's worked fine this long....
Ok, I'll repost this with the details I added and also with a new pic of the front. Thanks for the advice. Is my truck the 1st gen Tundra?
