I purchased a replacement master cylinder for my 2006 Tundra (dbl cab, v8 4x4), nut am not certain it is the right part.

Does anyone know what the part is that is between the master cylinder and the booster? The replacement master cylinder has the pushrod, but I don’t see how that will work with this other hydraulic-type part that is bolted between the master and booster.

I’ve not been able to locate any diagrams or information on the web.

    Your help is much appreciated.

    Thanks!

This is what the not-pain-in-the-ass one looks like, right? (Yes, I know, I probably should flush)

God save your soul. Burn the truck to the ground and claim insurance. Its easier than sourcing one of those.

Or grab the one from @des2mtn

Someone else posted this link on the forum not long ago and I indexed it. Japanese used truck parts source, and it's plentiful, with prices that are double or triple the usual pull-a-part on some things (maybe because it's tested?) but less than half new OEM. https://www.japanesetruckdismantling.net/

May be worth checking there too.

I'm still baffled by the fact that Toyota has discontinued making parts such as the master cylinder and booster yet they are still selling window molding... Like what the actual F...

I know this master is unique but they don't even make the normal one either. So strange.
