If your Sony aftermarket radio isn’t that old, go on Crutchfield.com and see if you need any special adapters or mounting plates when you match it to your vehicle.

Just did this on my daughter's 2005 DC. Get the Metra kit (both wiring and dash side adapter plates) and you'll be good. ACab parts are here: http://www.metraonline.com/vfgapi/vehicle/76912?

Job was easy, five screws to remove dash panel and four screws to remove radio. Prewire your radio to the metra wiring (do it at your kitchen table or workbench) and then just plug it in and screw everything back together. Super easy.

I would recommend bypassing the oem amp (located below pass rear seat on 05/06 access cabs) and using the Sony built in. Crutch Field has the wiring harnesses and mounting plates you need of you order through them, sometimes at a discount or free.

I did the bypass on my 05 access cab. My newer radio has a better onboard amp and made the OEM speakers sound decent.
