I have water coming in the cab, dripping below the glove box and collecting in the passenger floor mat. Where could the water be coming from?

I have a couple chips in the windshield, and I am not sure the previous owner filled them so replacing the windshield is something I'm fine with doing if it's the seal. I'm just not sure the problem is the windshield.

I'm trying to decide if I should get the windshield replaced by Safelite and see if the leak stops, or take it to a dealer first in case they might replace the windshield, and also fix the leak if it's something else.

I would dig into this myself a bit but I don't have any inside space where I could dry everything out, and then pour water in places to investigate the source of the leak. I live in PNW and it's consistently wet this time of year so don't want to delay on this.

I don't know how I missed this thread... I swear I searched many combinations of "Water leak" "Cab leak" "Interior Leak" and didn't see anything related to my issue. Sorry for the duplicate post but I really appreciate you pointing me in the right direction so quickly!!

Not a problem, and not trying to come off as a search nazi or anything. Search here can suck sometimes if you don't use the checkboxes to limit what/where you're searching and how the results are displayed. It's why we try to have the mods sticky the really critical topics, but even the stickies get a little lost.

Heed the warning about the other fasteners that tend to break when you pop off the cowl. @BubbaW posted a great follow-up pic later in the leak thread that shows all the fasteners (reply # 22) except the black ones. You really only need to replace the two closest to the windshield on the passenger side which are indicated, or find a good way to seal them.
