So when we got our 1st cold snap, left for work and the trans would not shift past 3rd gear. Coming home in the afternoon it had warmed up and shifted fine. No more problems for a month. Now today, a month later, another cold snap and on the way to work it's not shifting past 3rd again. This time after warming up, still not shifting past 3rd. Seems like it's dug in this time.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks!

Have you thrown any codes? Checked the fluid level? Any other symptoms that show up while in this state of not shifting?

They will all be slow to shift until warmed up. They will hold a lower gear and shift a little firmer. My 2000 does it. My 2019 does it.

Threw codes P2714 (pressure sensor D is malfunctioning) and P0761 (Shift solenoid C fault)
It wouldn't shift at all past 3rd all day, cold or hot.

So I got under the truck and put my hands on both the output and input speed sensors on the transmission, just making sure the wire connectors were pushed in all the way, moved the wires around a bit. It shifted fine after that. Leads me to believe it's one of those two sensors.
