I'm going with my cousin to check out this truck tomorrow. We're getting some conflicting info on the Vin check. Some reports say it's a Tundra Grade and others say it's an SR5.
Looking for some 2nd gen knowledge on this truck. Was the TRD OR package offered on the Tundra grade trim??
    Thanks for any info!Screenshot_20200514-192408_Samsung Internet.jpg

It's an SR5, you couldn't get bucket seats without upgrading. I'd say it's TRD based on the rims as well.

Also, anyone please chime in with any 2nd gen items to watch out for while inspecting the truck.
I'll be looking for bed rust, cam tower leak..
Was the AIP failures an issue on a '10 5.7l?

TRD package will also get you the yellow and blue Bilsteins if they are still on.

You can also plug in the VIN on the Toyota owners site. Register yourself and plug in the VIN like it's yours. Pull up all the service history.

And you can run the Vin here for the build list

Looks like it's a SR5 with the TRD package

Grade is a bare bones work truck.

My truck was also originally classified as a grade but it has more options than most others.

I had Bilstein suspension, color matched rear bumper, and a one piece rock warrior color matched front bumper and grill. Which i guess is classified as sport appearance package per the build spec sheet.

But also had SR5 badges :monocle:

The badges on the rear doors will tell you. If none is present then it's the base model, if it's an SR5 or a LIMITED it'll say it. If it's a TRD it'll say it on the bed. That's a good starting point for looking. If you find out that it has/ doesn't have the correct badging then that would be a red flag.
