I have a 2012 tundra 5.7 4x4 and about 6 months ago the truck hesitated to start all the time until the fuel pump stopped working. I took it to the mechanic and he changed the fuel pump and it’s been 6 months and the truck is starting to hesitate again. I think something is messing up the fuel Pump. I don’t really use the truck during weekdays because I have a company Truck and my tundra is never low on gas. I spent 1200 to fix the fuel pump and now it’s starting to do the same damn thing.

Try to see if there is anything the dealer can recognize from the previous job.

I bought it from the dealer and a different mechanic installed it.

Check and or reset the alcohol density / fuel trim settings before you replace anything again. There are a bunch of threads on this issue. It might just need a reset and not a fuel pump. Dealer charged me $100 to reset once but I bought the software from Ebay the second time for $30 to do it myself.
