    Im looking at getting a tundra its 2012 with 126k miles on it one owner. Its the v8 4.6L is that a good year or what should I be looking for

    2012 is a good year. i actually have learned i like the grade model better. not sure about the 4.6 though as mine has a 5.7. i do use mine for work more than as a daily driver so that may have some of my bias bearing

    price? Did you run carfax to make sure its reported no accidents? little over 15k miles a year...but looks clean. 4.7L motor are the ones that hit 1M miles.

    Car/Truck values are going to be all over the place due to this Virus. People are/going to be losing their jobs, but at the same time gas is super cheap (I've been driving my truck more and more now that it doesn't hurt as much)

    For reference, I bought my 2007 SR5 TSS Edition in 2018 with 99,000 miles for $15,200 before TT&L. Clean title, very good condition.

    The 4.6L is the engine that has been documented going not once, but twice, over 1,000,000 miles and was NOT treated nicely (oil field work)

    As long as they aren't asking higher than KBB, go for it. In fact, you might have an edge with negotiations due to the pandemic, not many people are in a position or desire to buy cars/trucks now.
