I recently bought a 2012 TRD offload and Im thinking about doing a leveling kit. Does anyone have suggestions on what kit to buy and if the truck will need an alignment after installation. Thanks for any input.

I've got a 13 DC OR and just put a Ready Lifts block level kit (3" up front and 1" in back). Only reason I went this route is because my Bilsteins have 100K (yes Kilometers, no not miles) but still have some good life left in them. PLUS the puck kit was purchased for an 18 Tundra at a dealership and then the dealer realized they couldn't put it in the truck because of TSS-P (it was different up here in Canada)... so i got it for free.

At the end of the day it meant I could fit 275/70R18 Duratracs without rubbing and it was CHEAP!

As for kits: the Ready Lift is decent. No complaints, seems to be built well enough, was easy to install, came with everything needed other then the strut spacer. So I'm content so far. My only 2 cents would be to make sure it's installed properly. All the big companies make well built kits, having it installed the right way the first time makes all the difference.

YES get an alignment after! Pretty sure everyone here is going to agree with that.

I will be swapping this kit out when it comes time to replaced my struts and shocks. At that time I'll go with a Coil Over lift up front and an Add a leaf in the rear, same lift height without the draw backs of the puck lift. DO YOUR HOMEWORK on what it actually means to the different components when you put a spacer kit in your truck please! There are a ton of threads on here and across the world wide web on it. I'm sure someone has them at their finger tips and will link to them... I'm kind of to lazy.

Cheers and hope you enjoy the level kit!

Are they 275/60/20 or 275/65/20's? Thanks. And what brand tire?

Paramont Pro Z Premium Rock Crawler , and it comes with all the lights and wiring kit. Except the light bar, it takes a 32 ". I haven't put the winch in yet, probably this weekend. Smitty Built 12000.
