I had my eye on a 2013 Toyota Sequoia Limited. It has 165k miles and it's a one owner vehicle for $12,500. However, the suv is located in California and I live in San Antonio, Texas. But my family has purchased a vehicle from this gentleman before so I feel like I can trust him. The other thing is that this vehicle has a salvage title, which doesn't really bother me cause I would keep it until it dies!! Lol
But, I do have to take into consideration that I would still need to purchase 2 plane tickets so that someone can help me with the 1500 mile road trip back home. Then factor in food for both of us and gasoline.

Today, I ran across another Toyota Sequoia, but this one is a 2014 Toyota Sequoia Platinum with 207k miles and is also a one owner vehicle for right under $12,000. This suv is located in Houston which is about 215 miles from San Antonio, which is not bad, but here is a 42k miles difference.
Now I'm not sure which one to purchase.....Is the difference in miles a really big deal??

The number of miles is not as important as the way the miles were put on. I am only assuming, so you would probably have a better idea, but my assumption would be that the California vehicle would have been used in shorter trips and more traffic than the Texas vehicle. If true, that would make the Texas vehicle more desirable.

Also the platinum is a higher trim than limited. So it’s a win for the Texas one. 45k is negligible in my opinion with these drivetrains. Good luck. Post pics please

The year doesn't make a bit of difference to me. The only reason the trim level would is if the higher trim package included something I really wanted. If you're the same then the only question is how long would it take you to put 45K on it? If it's less than a year then I doubt I would care. But if you put 10k a year then I would go with the lower mileage one. Why? Assuming that they will both die at about the same mileage then the lower mileage truck would give you 4 plus extra years before having to look for a replacement. Granted that assumes they both die at the same mileage but buying used you have to assume that they were both taken care of about the same (unless you know differently). You could take a look at the 'local' Sequoia and see if there are any signs that it wasn't maintained well but dealerships are good about hiding and cleaning vehicles up.
