    Hi everyone,

I have a 2014 Tundra Platinum Crewmax and the airbag light is on with code B1801 and B1811. Does anyone know what this code means and how to fix it?

probably related to the clockspring I would guess.

and if you replace it, I do think that is the issue but do your research, us the OEM part. Aftermarket clocksprings often fail prematurely

So do I remove the steering wheel to replace the clockspring? I saw some youtube videos and people are replacing their clockspring because their horn doesn't work. None of them had to do with the airbags lights being on.

do some google searches on the codes. I found land cruisers, camry as well as tacos with same codes and issue was clockspring. There could also be an airbag sensor bad but most everything I saw was clockspring related and fixed by replacing that part.

Well the stealership wanted over $300 for a clockspring so I went the eBay route because I’m cheap like that and bought one for 12 bucks. Super easy to install! Took me about 20 minutes after watching some YouTube videos of other vehicles of course to get an idea. And now everything works like a charm from this $12 part. Thank you everyone for helping me out! Now I have to figure out what’s wrong with the blind spot monitor.
