    Good afternoon everyone,

I need some help finding a video that shows step by step how to replace a clock spring in a 2015 Toyota Tundra Crewmax. I can not seem to find one anywhere. Not sure if I am not looking in the right places. But it always seems to go to the 2007-2013 Tundra or Tacomas. But never in the 2014-2021 range. Any help is appreciated. Or if it is has been posted here, the link to the discussion/video. Dealership wants $567+$187 diagnostic fee. Thought the extended warranty I bought was bumper to bumper but apparently not.

    Thanks in advance.

Thank you frichco228. I thought since the years always range from 2007-2014 & 2015-2021, that there would be a difference. Thanks for the video.

Make sure the steering wheel is centered before starting. When moving the module over from the old clock spring to the new clock spring, make sure you do NOT spin the the little white tabs in the center of the module. You can move the little white tabs slightly to line them up with the new clock spring, just don't spin the tabs 180+ degrees or it will be off center and your problems indicators will light up like a Christmas tree.

Does anyone have a link to one they have purchased and have zero problems with? I've heard there are some issues with cheaper ones and want to make sure I don't have any issues when replacing. Just don't want to spend OEM pricing.

    I purchased OEM used on E-bay. Here's one - https://www.ebay.com/itm/126938044192?

Need to make sure the rotating part in the middle of the clock spring is somewhat centered out before you attach the other module to it.

In essence, gently spin the center of the clock spring X revolutions one way until it can't go anymore, then back to center and then X revolutions the other way until it can't go any more and then back to center. I also recall that the center of the clock spring for lining up and installing the module wasn't exactly center. The clock spring center ended up with something like 2.5 revolutions one way and 3.5 revolutions the other way. This was the only way I could get the module to line up. Hopefully this makes sense.
