2016 Tundra

Guys. I have a 2016 tundra crew max and it's the version with the crome grille.

I am currently upgrading to a trd pro look and my two questions are as follows:
1. Can the 2019 trd pro grille fit the 2016 model?
2. I dont have a sensor in front and need that rectangular block. Is their a cheaper option than ti buy the expensive sensor cover from toyota?

There are aftermarket sensor covers. Ebay, Amazon, etc. I think one member on here even made his own.

 

Yes it will fit, to get rid of all the chrome. You would need to buy color matched bulge and surround with the 2019+ TRD grill. I would cheap out and buy a sensor cover from eBay than the one sensor which is ridiculously priced, the ebay ones work fine. Some have dents and scratches on the bottom due to bad manufacturing so ask first to make sure. Should only cost you around $35-50 for the 2019 sensor cover.
