I've researched a number of threads about fuel pumps on the 2017-2019 Tundra. Apparently there was a recall in 2018, and apparently if you had an older model within the 8yr/84,000mi window, Toyota would either replace or work with you on the issue. My 2017 Tundra has 169,000mi, and once the temps here in north GA dropped below 45, it takes me at least 3 minutes before I can get the truck moving. Cranks w/o issue, no white or black smoke, no Check Engine light, battery is good, I almost exclusively use fuel with cleaning additives (Texaco, Shell, Chevron, BP), I never use flex fuel, and I clean the MAF sensor regularly. Everything operates as normal, except when I press on the gas pedal, there's no acceleration. The truck sort of slowly crawls, and if I press the gas pedal, it sounds as if I'm revving the engine. Fuel pump? Fuel filter? Throttle body? Looking for ideas before I take it to "my guy" that keeps "Duke" in tip-top shape. As always, thanks for the insight.

Sounds more like a torque converter or trans issue. Have you ever changed / checked the ATF?

Agree with above post.....I would do a trans drain and fill for sure....might as well do Transfer case, diffs too while you are at it unless they have been done in past 50k miles.

Thanks for the spot-on info. After my local mechanic drove it after a cold night sitting there, he said the same thing y'all did. I had the trans serviced, and the problem was resolved! This forum is great.
