    Hello, I have a leak but need help identifying the component. Can anyone tell me what this heat exchanger is for? Attached pictures. Thank you, Dave

    The one with the silver hardline is the AC condenser. The larger price at the top of the line is the pressure sensor. It used to cool the Freon in the AC. If yours is leaking your AC will not be very cold

    That's what I thought but it looks like engine oil, that's why I was questioning it. Doesn't smell like oil tho.

    There’s a small bit of refrigerant oil in the ac system.
