    I have an odd problem.

The drivers side taillight, night running light doesn't work but the brake, turn signal and reverse lights work. The lights to my trailers and boat with full functionality.

Checked fuses which doesn't even make sense since the other lights work and I have swapped out the tail light assembly with another one to eliminate that so it has to be a wire problem IMO.

Anyone else have anything like this happen?

(I was thinking about a jumper from the 7 pin plug to the wire on the taillight side that isn't getting voltage)

I'm having the EXACT same issue except it's on the passenger side taillight. Were you able to fix the issue? I'm probably going to get the Alpharex Taillights but I'm trying to figure out if need to rewire or if just replacing the input where the bulb goes in will remedy the problem.

    Check the bulb itself yet?

I did. Replaced the bulb twice with new ones just to be sure... still have the same issue.

I would then look at the wires at the plug itself to see if it’s corroded or frayed. Trace it back couple inches from the plug.
