2018 Blazing Blue Pearl SR5 CM - Traded in

I'll miss the truck to some degree. It looked really nice when cleaned up. With a 45 minute commute for a new job, I needed to double my mpg. Now was a perfect time to trade it in with only 24k miles on it. They gave me $35k for it. They had a white SR5 CM for $44k with a $10k mark-up. F that.

The black Camry XSE that I bought is really nice. Lots of tech. Rides far smoother than the Tundra.

Not any yet. We were there so late that they didn't get it detailed because the detailer was gone. We're bringing them back later this week. Saying "them" because we did a two car deal.
The wife traded her 2018 RAV4 in for a new red/black Camry XSE at the same time. We're a two car sale when it's time to get new Toyotas. Here's hers. The red and black looks sharp. She's already gotten multiple compliments on the car. It looks far better in the sun.

YES! That red and black looks really good on them. I am partial to the Winter Chill Pearl, but that's partially because my vehicles live outside. I've eyed the V6 Camrys for a while now, but I just don't need two vehicles.

 

Yep. Pretty close. The Camry TRD is the base V6 model. Sport model, I guess. While we both wanted an XSE V6, we didn't want to wait. The 4 banger is good enough for what we need. If we wanted a performance sedan, we would have bought the Lexus IS500.

 

I'm getting the chrome window trim and the gray part of the front bumper blacked out soon.

 

Ooooh! Purdy! I see you've chosen the "forever gonna be washing it" color. Almost nothing looks as good as a properly shined up black vehicle, but I just don't have the patience for it. Follow the "Ask the Detailer" thread and it will be the envy of every other car on the road. Keep us up to date with your impressions, likes, dislikes, and glamour shots of both of 'em!
