I am in the market for a 2019 Tundra Limited 4x4. I am wondering if I should op for the TRD Off Road Package. It only costs $70-$90 more so that is not an issue. I will be towing a trailer with this vehicle but no serious off roading. I live in Tahoe so snow and winter performance is a big issue. Consumer reports said the Tundra it tested with this package rode better off road but that it had a stiffer, more jittery ride on the highway. I don't know how seriously to take CR about this. I will try to test drive Limiteds both with and without the TRD OR package. As I said I will not be doing much off roading with this vehicle but snow performance is a factor.

The main upgrades that I am interested in in the TRD Off Road package are the Bilstein shocks, wheels, and tires. I am not sure what shocks, tires, and wheels I would be getting if I didn't get the TRD Off Road Package so it is difficult to compare. I don't plan on replacing the shocks for a while so I would like to find out more about them. Tires will be replaced soon if I need better winter tires so that is not a bid deal. I don't care much about how the wheels look, but will the wheel upgrade effect performance or what (and cost of) replacement tires I can get?

If it has some performance benefits for my purposes, I would like to get the TRD OR package as it is a cheap upgrade and I like the styling more. Any insights appreciated

    Too many TRD parts
The non trd come with the 20” 5 spoke wheel. Another difference was my ‘19 trd off road came with the Black led headlights like what is on TRD Pro compared to the chrome looking Led headlights on the standard model. Also you get skid plate under your gas tank and in the front.

I have a 2019 Crewmax 4WD Limited with Off Road package.
I test drove the plain limited and mine extensively.
Big difference is ride and handling on road because of shocks and swaybar differences.
The plain Limited was smoother on road but had more lean in corners, not high speed, just like entrance ramps. The Limited with Off road is more firm with less lean. Depends on what you want.
Headlights are different, sticker on bed, shocks, sway bars, skid plates and the tires on mine (Michelin LTX AT 18") are much better than the non Off Road for snow. Just drove 500 miles today, a few hundred in snow.
    Here's mine

I could be completely wrong but I believe the TRD package also adds LED lighting up front. That was worth the package itself.

Edit: I apologize, I see your looking at a Limited. It upgraded the lights on my SR5.

TRD package on the Limited is a no-brainer. Better wheels (in my opinion), skids and shocks for $70. No regrets on mine!

The TRD OFF Road Limited is definitely the sweet-spot in the lineup. That $70 and limited package also gets you Black LED headlights ,led Fogs, 18' Alloy wheels, tow hooks and mats. Limited also gets you a 5k electronics package for 1k. Dual Zone Climate, Leather heated power Driver/passenger seat and steering wheel.
