    Hi everyone,

I just got a new 2020 tundra and was looking to upgrade the stereo receiver for better sound quality and a speaker upgrades. I've been searching around for something that looks OEM and clean. I ended up running across this alpine halo9 receiver that's supposedly made for only 2014-2019 models. Do you think it would be able to fit a 2020? I didn't really find anything really on why it doesn't fit. Would appreciate any help or input!

Buy the right dash kit (2020) is the same as 2014-2019 so those kits will fit. I just did a Pioneer 10.2” 8600, and all the speakers and added to subs. Best thing I’ve ever done. If you want to keep steering wheel controls, you’ll need a Maestro from Idatalink. Also, do your research on the halo HU’s. I’ve seen a lot of complaints when using gps apps such as Waze, and not being able to see the screen very well.

Definitely get the Pioneer 8600 over the Halo. There are a number of reasons, but the absolute best reason is the Pioneer has wireless CarPlay / Android Auto.

I have the Pioneer in my Tundra, and I love it (especially with the wireless charging center console).

I just bought the Kenwood eXcelon Reference 10.1" Digital Multimedia Receiver DMX1057XR for my 2017. It has wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. That’s what I wanted and why I didn’t go with the Alpine Halo. Also, it has a volume knob.

    Hello,
Any body knows if this stereo would fit a 2103? I checked crutchfield and it shows that it would not fit.
    Thanks

It will. It's a standard double din chassis.
You need the dash radio trim for your year. It will install just like any other double din radio.
