So the USB media port that you use to hook up for CarPlay/Android Auto, how many amps/watts does it put out?
I know the other 2 next to it are labeled as 2.1 amps.

Welcome to the forum! The usb media port is most likey just 500 milliamps, the other two are the charging ports just for charging cell phones etc.

Ok so it’ll still charge while using CarPlay but not fast charge.

    Thanks

The USB port is only for media transfer. It won’t charge any modern phone as it’s not designed too.

If you are using the phone it might not charge faster than you are draining the battery, resulting in no charge.

Yes, but he asked about amps/watts for the media one and if it’ll charge while using CarPlay.

It actually charges my Pixel 4xl faster than expected while using Android auto. Maybe 1% per minute. I have a 2020 and can speak from experience.

My 2020 charges my Samsung S7 while using the navigation app through Android Auto without issue. Used it three days straight eight hours each day coming back from Florida and phone remained fully charged.
