What product is it? Line-X? Something else? Does it need a UV protective wipedown once in a while? Longevity?

EDIT: Only referring to factory-sprayed bedliner from Toyota San Antonio

depends, if a drop in liner then it will be the plastic, no need to wipe it down. That would be quite hard to do, they are textured, and you would not want the liner slick.

if spay in, depends on what spray in liner your dealer uses.

Either one can last as long as your truck if you don't abuse the bed. There are pros/cons, spray in cost more, drop ins are cheaper and you can find them gently used for next to nothing sometimes, but they can wear the paint in the bed and over time that can mean some rust.

I was only referring to factory-sprayed bedliners from Toyota San Antonio. I didn't think anyone actually used plastic drop-in liners anymore.

I wouldn't let a plastic bed liner near my truck. I went with an after market line-x liner because there is a lifetime warranty rather than a 10 year warranty.

Are you implying that the factory-sprayed bedliner is only warranted for 10 years?

Still trying to determine... Is it better to order the factory bedliner or let Line-X do it after purchase?

Easy decision, line-x. It costs the same and a better warranty.

I got my bed liner put in last Wednesday for $590 with a lifetime warranty. It looks great and the process was stress-free.

I applied Herculiner and then had a factory plastic bedliner put in. Protection of an actual liner ,with a 100 dollar rolled on liner underneath to prevent rust issues.
