2021 JBL subwoofer output wire color question

    Hello, it’s me again. I’m sure I missed a thread that discussed this but I wanted to ask about the color of the wires if the JBL sub on the 2021 tundra. I noticed they are black/green. Is it fair to assume the green is positive and the black is negative?

    That’s interesting! But yeah the wires and plug going to the sub are green/black, at least in my case. I do appreciate the help though!

    I just assumed the green was positive and black was negative. It’s been fine although I probably should’ve busted the multimeter on it for good measure but never did.

    You may want to check into this more.
    I installed mine based on the info below, which is based on JRT info.
    Refer to post 341. This is in alignment with a what came from JMT as well.

    "As you can see, white now goes to green and blue goes to black. With that being said now the green goes to the black connector on the sub and the black wire goes to the red connector."
