Hey guys, anyone know if there is a fuse that controls the alternator? Truck died on me driving home the other day and wondering if I can solve it easy. Thanks

Alt-s fuse controls output. It’s in the fuse box under the hood.

Curious if you have made any changes to your truck that involves the wiring?

Haven't done anything to it. It just died while driving home the other day and seems like an alternator problem. Came out of nowhere

Under warranty? I’d think battery before alternator.

Well the battery is probably toast either way so I’d replace it and check voltage with the truck running.

Loose cable, positive or ground near the battery would be my guess. Battery itself is also a likely culprit.
Did the truck die suddenly? Or start with dimming lights ands and warning lights flashing?

The alternator is in a terrible spot so hopefully not.
