    Hi all,

I'm considering purchasing this vehicle. I'd be trading in my 05 Tundra with 190k miles. I'm curious on your thoughts, mostly price. This Sequoia has 63K miles on it; it seems it was a rental vehicle prior to being listed. Anything to look out for with the 2022s? I would obviously do a thorough rust exam, but fortunately, it was used mostly in warm weather states.

    Best,

NVM - I thought that had the TT. That looks like a good price!

First off I say keep the 1st gen but if you're dead-set on getting rid of it, you'd probably be better off selling it on your own to get the most money, unless they've got some crazy deal going on right now for trade-ins.

Being it was a rental it probably was not driven nicely so there is that to consider. It has the 5.7 motor so that is a plus and the Sequoia is a dang nice vehicle.!:) check it out then go over everything again to make sure you did not overlook anything.:)
It’s not a Pro and not a 4x so I would be trying to get the price lowered.

Yeah I would say the price is good, I bought a 20 SR5 4x4 that was treated rough but the price was right. Mechanical is been sound, getting close to 50k and runs prefect but a few things I had to fix:
    - front windshield was aftermarket and cracked - leaked so replaced
    - back hatch leaked - took hatch apart and replaced vapor barrier
    - mine came with katskins that someone DIY'ed. Didn't do a good job and led to some seat issues I had to get corrected
    - I have a couple shocks that are seeping that I'm going to need to replace sometime

Even after I put some money in it I still walked away with a good deal, you can barley find gen2 for sale out here in the south west

I paid close to 2x as much for our TRD PRO (also bought used). This is a nice price. For me the downside is that it's not 4wd. If this isn't something you'd need, then it looks like a good buy. Interior looks very good for a rental!

    Thx for all the thoughts.
    The search continues.
Seriously considering this "high mileage" sequoia... any concerns for 2020 TRD pro with 100k miles?
Service records seem good, though there was an eval leak repair?
Price seems ok, wondering how much latitude I'd have in negotiating.

It looks like it could be a good one. The relatively high mileage isn’t an issue, as long as it has been maintained. Many people drive a lot for work. Being from the South, rust ins’t b the picture. Pre-purchase inspection would be a good idea.

I'd say it's good as well...little high mileage to but one owner so that's a good sign as long as the maintenance has been regular , I never trust lifts on used cars (just me) so I would definitely pay attention to that peice...love the pro looks
