Thought I read somewhere there is a difference in height between the std TRD 4x4 and the TRD Off Road, is this true, if so, how much?

I read on the internet, so you know it's true, the TRD Off Roads sit 1" higher in the front.

Just get the correct labels here...

There is the 4x4 with the "TRD Off Road" Package and then there is the standard 4x4. "TRD" is not used on the standard 4WD, that I'm aware of. One Caveat: I don't know all of the packages in Canada.

However...to make it more confusing, you can get the "TRD Off Road" package on the 2WD in some regions. It has the same Bilstein suspension as the 4WD and a lot of the same interior upgrades (shifter, pedals, start button, etc) but it does not have all of the additional drive modes like Crawl control, etc.

And, to answer the OP's question: This has been discussed quite a bit on the 2.5 Gen forums. The ride height is the exact same between the TRD Off Road and the standard 4WD. I assume it's the same on the 3rd Gen. Link to the thread: https://www.tundras.com/threads/ride-height-difference-trd-vs-stock.89105/

Another telling factor: Toyota advertises the TRD Pro as having a 1.1" lift over standard with the Fox suspension. If there was a ride height difference with the TRD Off Road package, you betcha they'd advertise it too. Anything their marketing department can do to upsell more packages...they would advertise it. Case in point - With the TRD Sport package, Toyota actually says its a "lowered suspension" in their marketing. The fact that they don't say anything about an increased ride height with the TRD OR package is pretty telling IMO. It's the same ride height as stock.

There is no TRD Standard package in Canada. I think he meant to just say TRD Offroad vs TRD Sport vs no TRD package (STD?)

Does that mean the TRD Pro is 1.1 inches taller than the TRD OffRoad and the TRD Pro is 2.1 inches taller than the TRD Sport?
