Recently just got my 2022 tundra. I’m the second owner. When I got the car I was able to deleted the previous owner profile data with the 6 digit code he give me. Now I can’t created a profile for me whenever I tried to “add vehicle” on the Toyota apps it’s told me to scan the QR code on the multi media screen but the QR code is not popping out. Also when I goes to setting it’s doesn’t show any profile only says reset setting which I already tried.

Sounds like your truck is not getting any signal from the internet or the head unit got disconnected from the VIN somehow. Try to park in an open area with known good ATT connection and try the reset again. Otherwise I’d take it to the dealer and ask them to reprogram it.

I bought mine used also and had same problem. The dealer called Toyota support by pushing the red distress button on the overhead console and they reset it at their end. They had to update who the new owner was and walk us through the screen prompts. I don’t remember the steps because the Toyota dealer did it with me before I drove it off the lot. Hopefully your dealer can assist you. Good luck.

Don't waste your time going to the dealer. I had a very similar issue. A trip to the dealer later, they told me call Toyota support... Similar to @PERRY1060, I was up and running shortly after calling.

I swapped head units with a different Tundra and now getting the same symptoms. I imagine I’ll have to call and ask them to link this head unit to my VIN. Is using the SOS button the best way to contact them or is there a phone number? Couldn’t really find anything in the manuals about it.

I've been dealing with this since july/August of 2022. No one can seem to figure it out. This new truck is just a joke all around.
