2022 Tundra with Factory Tonneau Cover

I have a 2022 Tundra with a factory installed tonneau cover on it. The recall issue was repaired on it. I have had an issue two times now where the cover is freezing to the top of the tailgate and the tailgate will not open. Both times we had to find a place to get hot water and pour it over top of both parts to finally free it up. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem and if anyone has found a solution? Sorry if this topic was covered already.
