TRD Air Filters, Front door windows tinted to match the rears. Wheel locks, Talons Garage cat shield, Tyger Automotive soft tonneau cover, WeatherTech floor mats with Tuff Skinz Custom Emblem kit, Toyota OEM Emblem Black Out kit. AVS vent covers on all four doors, Red Tundra letters on front bumper & TRD highlighted in Red on front grille. Tailgate Tundra Letters in Black.
Just curious what driving mode are you all using?

Just put my first 1,000 miles on my Tundra and I’ve tried all the driving modes. So far Normal mode seems to work for me in terms of gas mileage and performance. Eco mode I didn’t see much difference but I like Sport mode as well.

Switched from eco to normal before leaving the dealers lot and haven't touched it since.

Sport for most of my driving, but I’ll push the Tow/Haul button if I’m climbing an incline.
Smooth power when climbing and eliminates wheel spin on my gravel driveway hill.

Eco so far 15,000 miles so far, not sure it’s affects mileage much or not but my long term mpg compared to my outgoing 2019 is about 3.3mpg better in the 22.

For my pansy ass, it all depends on outside temp. Most of the time I run Eco, however when it is hotter than a millennial watching Blazing Saddles out I run in normal. I can hear a difference in the AC blower motor when in normal mode and the truck cools off faster, after its cooled I do switch to eco

Does having this “driving mode” mean the truck has the air suspension? If not, what is an easy way when looking at trucks (online or no windo sticker) to know it has the AVS package?
Thanks for the help as I shop for a another Tundra!

In Canada.. platinum models and up are only ones with rear air suspension. Not sure on my southern counterparts. In Canada we get stuck with the sr5 wheels on the limited’s so wtfk…. Lol

The AVS and air suspension are actually slightly different options. The rear air suspension alone is offered on the Limited (and maybe SR5) trims as an option. On the Platinum/1794/Capstone, AVS (adaptive variable suspension) is offered as part of the “advanced package.” This includes a modification that makes on the fly changes electronically to the suspension and also has the air component.

Drove mine for the first few hundred miles in eco mode. After the lift and tires I switched it to normal and haven't moved it since I'm almost at 3k miles now.

I’m using sport because I feel like there is a slight delay off the line. Normal or eco on the highway. My 21 had a pedal commander, I did enjoy that. May look into getting another one.

Wow, Tundra ECO mode might be the crappiest mode I've ever encountered on a vehicle. I was searching the forums because my gas mileage has been at 14mpg and my AC hasn't been blowing hard on the auto setting and after reading some of the post I changed my driving mode to normal and "voila" the AC issue was fixed and my mileage started to tick up. Still have to see the longer term effect on mileage but it started up as soon as I switched. Incredible, I had a 2019 Corvette where ECO mode actually worked without killing anything else. I can truthfully say this one on the Tundra sucks, I think it does more harm than good?

Comfort mode because I like driving in luxury and style. I used to ride in eco but it doesn't seem to be to eco for me. I was thinking of running eco city and comfort on the highway but I got lazy and just kept it in comfort.

I run in comfort mode, that way my wife is happy with the ride, regardless if it makes a difference.

Comfort on local roads, custom (sport steering and suspension) on the freeways. I’ll switch to comfort if the freeway is really bad tho.

Comfort, Sport S+, and Individual is only on the vehicles with AVS.

Normal, ECO, Sport, Tow/Haul, Tow+ on all vehicles except SR.

If you have a TRD off-road package you get the MTS offroad modes.

I think Normal is the best mode. ECO puts the HVAC into an efficient mode but that just means it cools the cabin less. It’s not so useful if you’re turning down the temperature or upping the fan speed. Can’t really notice much difference between ECO, Sport, and normal in most driving situations.

I drove in eco when I first got it but felt it was less responsive than normal mode and I didn't notice a mileage difference so it stays in normal mode
