    Greetings Forum.

I picked-up a 2023 w the stock 22” wheels. I like the look of the wheel but would like to add a taller tire after a leveling kit (Icon) that will add 2.5-3” front and .5” rear w new springs.

Is there a taller tire made that I can add to the OEM wheel?

    Thanks, ck

Who’s “trail riding” their capstone on 22s? Believe the market for capstone is more commuter, big dog contractor (not the working kind) people who buy luxury cars, but want a truck, either for no reason, or for mild hauling reasons (Home Depot runs, antique-ing on the weekends) etc. obviously for trail duty, 22s make no sense. (Not that I think they ever make sense for me)

    ^ This exactly.
The Capstone wasn't targeted for people that off-road or even take a dirt road.
More for the Lexus, Infinity, Audi, and Denali crowd..:cool:

Lots of vehicles do. Lexus LX570 did. Mercedes and BMW SUVs do. I’m willing to bet the Urus and Bentyaga do as well. Also not trail rigs.

To drive on ice and snow, not to go 4-wheelin.
There are many AWD vehicles that aren't meant to be driven off-road.
Surely you are smarter than you make yourself out to be..

Guess thats the difference between you and I . I dont let multiple threads dictate what I want. If I think a Capstone looks great with 22's, I will buy it regardless what others think. IF I wreck a wheel, so be it. Wrecked lots of other stuff in my life, and still sleep great

Good luck. I had a ram limited with 22s. Only like 2 options for actual light truck tires at $400+ each tire. Otherwise they get eaten up by 1500 class trucks.

Funny how one question get's asked and the thread gets de railed, let's see if that new guy who posts his first question ever comes back...So let's go a little further now that you have my attention.

First off I'm not a GC that loves to go show boating from site to site for stats,or some pretentious prick who does everything for glam, stats or just attention. Nope not this asshole, I'm actually a regular guy who has busted my ass with plenty of war stories working on 15,20 up to 50+ story buildings installing industrial HVAC equiment & no pun intended but from the ground up.

So with that little bit of trivia I actually ordered this particular model,Color, dash cam spray bed liner and I was on fence with the OEM lift or the AVS,well the AVS won because I don't live the life of Off Roading or use the truck for farming, masonry or for work period,it's used strictly for just regular shit that Blue collar guys do.
I would love to lie and tell yall I'm a four wheeling freak of nature and live off the grid and that I'm sponsored by this Co. and that Co.that pays my bills.
Because it seems that everyone on the "Blabernet" are 100% truthful about themselves.
Sorry not me,I believe in a hand shake and my word, that's how this asshole rolls.

I'll tell you this, you bought your truck for your purposes and it does what you expect from it,if not mod it so it dose along with everyone else. Most people will buy what they want for there needs and purposes and what they can afford and do what they please to it because
it's theirs, and it doesn't matter to me because it's not mine and dose not affect me at all.lol.
Look I'm no fucking tree hugger or hold hands and sing coum buya by a camp fire. But what gives man?
Go back and read any or all of my post not a single one is flinging negative shit, it's because no one really knows what's going on in the life of another.

Ya just never know who your talking to...
    Look down range before moving.

Not everyone off roads. 22’s are common on trucks, and they are fine for most many people that are staying on roads and hauling a holiday camper.

    Yup
22’s look kick ass. I considered it too. The only reason I didn’t go with it is because the lack of sidewall and not that Im worried about the wheel, I just dont like the sound the road makes when you dont have that rubber cushion. But otherwise , for a street truck, I love it. The truck is huge, it needs wheels that compliment the huge look.
I even ran some numbers trying to make this work with 22’s. In order to have enough sidewall I would need to go to 37” tires on 22” wheels.
I bet that would look awesome but I would need a massive lift to accommodate that.
Anyway , love the look .
Make it yours , thats the reason we buy trucks like these.

Proper truck. If by proper you mean $100k 1/2ton to go buy groceries then ok. Proper truck went out the window years ago. I would rather buy a real luxury SUV and a regular truck instead of a luxury truck.

Back on topic. Whats the biggest tires can I fit without a lift? Asking for a friend.

    33” for zero issues
A few 34” with occasional scrape here and there
